No, really, just rain. So much rain. For days and days and days. The sound is like 10,000 tap dancing hamsters.
Usually I adore the rain, but this nonstop storm we’ve been having for weeks has sent me into a funk. It’s somewhat unpleasant.
It could also be that I’ve had some horrendous flu-like illness for almost 2 weeks, and am just now starting to feel like myself again. Except for the part where it still kind of hurts to breathe.
Meh.
Oh, the S.O. and I have had the same thing all week! He is much worse off than I, and the worst part is the coughing keeping us both from sleeping very much. “Meh” is right.
Ahh, rain is wonderful! I love the rain! And I dare say that in 10+ years here, it’s pretty rare to get as good a rain as we just got. But it looks like we’re through most of it now.
Sorry ’bout the flu! That’s surely the downer, not the rain!
I wish it would rain here in Texas. We’re nearly 20 inches behind and we’re facing a bad drought.
